COYANOSA, TX — The United States Geological Survey is reporting a 3.0 magnitude earthquake in West Texas, three days after a 3.4 earthquake shook the same area.
The earthquake occured 12.2 miles south-southwest of Coyanosa and 64.4 miles southwest of West Odessa.
Three days earlier, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck 5.7 miles north of Coyanosa and 48.8 miles southwest of West Odessa.
