CRAWFORD, TX — The Crawford Lady Pirates have won the Class 2A State Softball Championship, defeating Thorndale 8 to 7.
In the 8th inning, Crawford and Thorndale were tied 7 to 7 before the Pirates scored the game winning run.
Dunbar was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game.
