WACO, TX — Bubba's 33 is offering a 50% discount to all restaurant employees that stop by during the coronavirus pandemic.
Bubba's 33 said they see others in the industry struggling as many are getting laid off or shortened hours.
To help those struggling in the food service business, they are giving restaurant employees half off discounts.
Owner Phillip Dunn has been in the business for 20 years.
He said he not only wants to take care of his employees but make sure others are taken care of as well.
"A lot of our people in this industry are day to day not just paycheck to paycheck but day to day," Dunn said, "And so we wanted to make sure the rest of the restaurant community knew that we were with them."
To get the discount, all you have to do is bring in your most recent paystub.
Bubba's 33 is open 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. for to-go orders only.
