HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — A Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Harker Heights on Monday at 10 a.m.
The ceremony is sponsored by the Area Veterans Advisory Committee and the City of Killeen.
Killeen City Mayor Jose Segarra will provide the opening remarks for the ceremony, and the Harker Heights and Copperas Cove Mayors will read proclamations at the event.
Veterans organizations throughout the area plan to participate, as well as the 1st Cavalry Division Honor Detail.
The public is invited to help honor those who have fought and given their lives for our country.
