TEMPLE, TX — Carmen DeCruz, a former Temple PD officer accused of killing Michael Dean during a traffic stop, has been indicted for manslaughter.
A grand jury indicted DeCruz on the manslaughter charge Wednesday.
DeCruz was arrested on Feb. 10th for second-degree manslaughter, after the alleged shooting and killing of Michael Dean on December 2, 2019.
He resigned from the Temple Police Department on February 19.
