CENTRAL TEXAS — A tornado watch for several counties in Central Texas has been canceled.
The watch for counties such as McLennan, Bell, Navarro and Milam counties were canceled around 4:45 a.m.
The watch was originally issued until 10 a.m. on Monday.
The higher severe threat was north of our area, but there was plenty of energy for a few stronger gusts and some hail in the strongest storms.
There could still be some lingering showers and storms on Monday.
Monday afternoon will be cooler with temperatures in the 70's.
