WACO, TX — The Waco Convention and Visitor Bureau said that while there is no planned closures for I-35 this weekend, drivers should prepare for a month long closing of a frontage road.

Starting Monday, Dec. 2, the northbound frontage road near US Highway 84 will be closed for about a month. Crews are preparing to work on drainage features along northbound I-35.

This work will require a full closure of the northbound I-35 frontage road at the first entrance ramp north of BUS 77.

• Northbound I-35 frontage road traffic must enter the northbound I-35 mainlanes at this entrance ramp and may re-enter the frontage road by using Exit 338B for Behrens Circle

• Exit 338A for US 84 and Bellmead Drive will be closed

• Northbound I-35 mainlane traffic will need to use Exit 337A for BUS 77 for access to US 84

• Bellmead Drive will remain open to the northbound I-35 frontage road for access to US 84

• Local access will be maintained via Bellmead Drive
