TEMPLE, TX — State Highway 317 is now open after a crash that happened Friday morning.
Temple police said the scene has been cleared and all lanes are now open.
Police said a crash involving a truck tractor and an SUV shut down State Highway 317 just north of SH 36. The crash happened in the 11000 block of SH 317 between Airport Road and Little Mexico Road.
The call was dispatched at 5:26 a.m.
The driver of the SUV was extricated by firefighters and transported with life-threatening injuries by Temple EMS. The driver of the truck tractor was not injured.
Temple police are investigating the crash.
