WACO, TX — Waco police said that seven crashes were reported on Interstate 35 through Waco...in the last two hours.
Police said Thursday afternoon that the crashes were reported on several parts of I-35, four of which were still being cleared as of 3:30 p.m.
Accidents were reported on both north and southbound sides of I-35 in areas of Bellmead, downtown Waco and Valley Mills Drive.
More than 85,000 people were expected to be in the Waco area this weekend due to several events such as Spring at the Silos and the Texas Food Truck Showdown.
