University of Mary Hardin-Baylor golfer Jade Ming has been named American Southwest Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week ending February 20th. This is the first ASC weekly honor of Ming’s career.
Ming, a freshman from Lynden High School in Lynden, Washington, won all three of her matches at the Battle at Camp Bowie in the Cru’s spring opener. Ming won matches three and two, six and five and one up over the weekend as she helped lead UMHB to a 3-2 victory over Concordia Texas in the championship match of the match-play event.
The UMHB women will return to action with the Schreiner Spring Shootout on March 11-12th. That tournament will be played at The Club at Comanche Trace in Kerrville.
