McLennan Softball catcher Kaitlin Richards earned North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Feb. 3-9 for her outstanding offensive performance.
Richards, a sophomore from Mansfield, appeared in five games for the Highlassies racking up four home runs, 10 RBIs and seven runs scored. She boasted a .500 batting average with a 1.357 slugging percentage for the week.
McLennan returns to action Friday, traveling to Bossier City, Louisiana, for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Bossier Parish Community College.
