A male tiger that was found inside a vacant Houston home was moved to an animal shelter in Cleveland, Texas.
The 350-pound animal, nicknamed "Tyson" after the movie "The Hangover" was moved to the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch where he is enjoying the sun.
According to ABC13, someone went into the home to smoke marijuana and discovered the tiger living in deplorable conditions. The anonymous woman called 311 to report the animal.
After obtaining a warrant, officers went into the home and found the tiger in a cage that was not large or sturdy enough for her. Police told KPRC the cage was not locked and the garage where the cage was found was secured with only a screwdriver and a nylon strap.
Several packages of meat were found with the animal, ABC13 said.
Animal Enforcement Officers with Houston's BARC Animal Shelter responded to move the tiger to its headquarters temporarily. Although she was friendly, she was tranquilized for safety reasons.
