Posted

A Montana cat is down to eight lives after she was found frozen and buried in snow on Jan. 31.

The owners found their cat Fluffy injured and unresponsive. Pictures show her fur completely matted with ice and snow.

The veterinary clinic in Kalispell, Montana told ABC News Fluffy's temperature was so low when she was brought in, it didn't even register on a thermometer. Fortunately, after a few hours, she remarkably recovered.

When Fluffy was found, the low in the nearby city of Whitefish was 8 degrees, and by Jan. 31 they received nearly 16 inches of snow for the month.
