A man is in jail and charged with first-degree murder after police found a dead woman at a Bartlett home.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said it happened on Feb. 1 at a home on the 600 block of W. Jackson Street just after 4 p.m.
Bartlett police officers responded to the home and found Stormie Callison. She had been shot.
Officials identified Archie Rogers Jr. as the suspect. At 10:19 p.m., the sheriff's office asked for assistance from the Burnet County Sheriff's Office in searching a location in the 7200 block of Burnet County Road 243 for Rogers' truck.
With the help of a Texas Department of Public Safety Air Unit, the truck was located, but due to weather, the air unit returned to base before Rogers was located.
On Feb. 2, Rogers was taken into custody by Williamson County SWAT after being seen on a WCSO drone.
Rogers is being held at the Williamson County Jail. No bond has been set.
