PHOENIX — A 7-week-old puppy is recovering at the Arizona Humane Society after being found with rubber bands wrapped tightly around his feet.
“Little Foot,” as he has been named, was brought in about two weeks ago by a good Samaritan. At the time, he had swollen feet making it difficult to walk, and nearly lost all circulation because of the rubber bands.
The puppy now has daily treatments including laser therapy and warm compress massages to promote blood flow and increase circulation.
The Humane Society says Little Foot's paws have improved incredibly over the past several days and the scabbing is almost gone.
The Humane Society says they’re not sure how long the treatment will have to go before Little Foot is able to go up for adoption. You can look for updates on his condition online.
