The Dallas Cowboys announced quarterbacks coach Kellen Moore will be promoted to offensive coordinator for the 2019 season.
Dallas' front office fired former coordinator Scott Linehan Jan 18 and since then, people have expected Moore to be named his replacement.
Moore opened the 2017 season as a back up quarterback on the roster, finished on the practice squad, and then moved into his quarterbacks coach role in 2018.
Dallas also added Jon Kitna to its staff as quarterbacks coach to replace Moore. Kitna played for the Cowboys from 2009-2011 as a backup to then quarterback Tony Romo.
