McGregor ISD issues statement over threat made at high school

The McGregor ISD superintendent issued a statement regarding a threat made at the high school on Tuesday.

According to MISD Superintendent James Lenamon, the school district was made aware that a student made threats involving other students. They said they take all reports related to student safety very seriously.

In the incident, the McGregor High School administration thoroughly investigated the report and took appropriate actions.

The statement also said that the safety and security of McGregor ISD’s students and staff is their top priority. The district will be taking additional precautionary steps to ensure a sense of safety for their school family.

The school district also wanted to remind the community to report anything suspicious.
