One man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle crossing the highway on Saturday.
According to DPS, at approximately 2:18 p.m. troopers responded to an auto-pedestrian fatality crash on I-35 northbound near mile marker 370, north of Hillsboro.
An investigation determined the pedestrian, 57-year-old Tilmer Aldridge, was crossing the highway when he was struck by a Dodge pickup truck.
He was dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was not injured, and there have been no charges filed as a result of the investigation.
