Chuck Norris hosting 5k, asks racers to dress up like him

Posted

Chuck Norris will be hosting an inaugural 5k where the racers are asked to dress up like him in College Station.

That's right - all participants will be given a custom Chuck Norris-style t-shirt, a fake beard and a "sweet" belt buckle in an attempt to create a world record.

If you're wondering if the real Walker, Texas Ranger will be in College Station, Chuck Norris will be waiting at the finish line to greet participants with a high five.

The race website noted that organizers are not responsible for any injuries that may occur from allowing Chuck Norris to give you a high five.

The race will also host a costume contest and hand out prizes for the best male Chuck Norris costume, best female Chuck Norris costume and best kid (anyone under 12 years old) Chuck Norris costume.

The race will be family friendly, but no pets will be allowed.

After the 5k, organizers are throwing an after-party complete with Chuck's favorite food and local brews, music, face painting and bounce houses.
