Twelve puppies were found in a dumpster outside a Family Dollar in Madisonville on Sunday.
Madisonville Animal Control said the puppies were in a gray plastic container. The puppies are believed to be dachshund mixes.
First Responder Animal Rescue said a reward of $7,000 is being offered for the confirmed identity of the owner of the puppies. The dog rescue is collecting the money to be sent to Madisonville Animal Control.
Animal control said there were no exterior cameras in the area that may have caught video of the person who abandoned the puppies.
All 12 puppies were found alive and unharmed. They are currently being cared for at the Madisonville Animal Control.
