A 78-year-old man died from his injuries on Thursday morning after he was hit by a car.
Waco police said on Wednesday night, Robert Melendez was struck by a Dodge Charger around 6:35 p.m.
The car was attempting to turn off of Parklake Drive to N. 19th Street when Melendez was hit.
Melendez was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died in the morning.
