Groesbeck police have contacted Union Pacific Railroad after a train has been blocking a street for “several days.”
According to police, the train is blocking the Jacinto Street crossing. They believe the train has been there for several days and caused an inconvenience to many citizens, first responders and visitors.
The train is blocking one of the city’s main crossings.
A railroad representative said that it is estimated to leave at approximately 11 p.m., so drivers will need to continue to detour two blocks south to the Angeline Street crossing.
Police said they will monitor the crossing and follow-up with Union Pacific if necessary.
