The power has been restored to residents after they were left without any due to a car crashing into a utility pole in China Spring Monday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at approximately 4:20 a.m., troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Culpepper Lane near Talbert Ranch Road.
A Hyundai car was traveling southeast at an unsafe speed headed into a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.
The driver and passenger were transported to Baylor Scott and White for possible injuries.
This is still an ongoing investigation, and charges are possible.
According to Oncor's website, 3,167 customers in China Spring were left without power due to the crash.
The power was fully restored Monday afternoon.
