Best and worst airports for Christmas travel
(RNN) – Christmas week is usually one of the busiest travel times of the year.
And it can be pretty daunting, depending on what airport you’re flying out of, as well as when and where.
The folks at Treetopia looked at government data from 2017 and analyzed every departing flight at the 50 busiest airports in the country to figure out which airports, routes and airlines had the highest percentage of delays and cancellations. They also calculated each one’s average delay time. (Note: The highest rated airline for holiday travel last year no longer exists. Virgin America is now a part of Alaska Airlines.)
