SAN SABA, Texas — After a dominant performance in the rain, San Saba football is going to the UIL Semifinals.
The Armadillos forced De Leon to turn the ball over their first two drives. San Saba then capitalized with two touchdown drives of their own.
The Bearcats offense would've stalled again, but a penalty led to a touchdown followed by an onside kick recovered by De Leon. That was the end of their luck though.
San Saba forced another turnover, got another touchdown and wouldn't look back from there winning 31-17. The Armadillos will play for a spot in the State Championship for the first time in school history next week.
