University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball player Kendall Rollins has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the week ending December 2nd. This is the third ASC Player of the Week honor for the UMHB women this season.

Rollins, a junior guard from Tompkins High School, averaged 16.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in leading the Cru to a 3-0 record last week. She was 8-11 from three-point range and shot 50 percent overall. Rollins also had four assists and four steals. She scored 23 points and added seven rebounds in a win over 9th-ranked East Texas Baptist and then closed out the weekend with a team-high 16 points in a victory over LeTourneau University. Rollins opened the week with a 10-point, eight rebound performance as UMHB topped Southwestern University in non-conference action.

The Cru women are 7-0 overall and 2-0 in ASC play on the season. UMHB will return to action with a 1 pm conference game at nationally ranked UT Dallas on Saturday in Richardson.
