Holiday events planned in the Bryan and College Station area could make travel tricky on Sunday afternoon.
The 29th Annual Jingle Bell Fun Run will begin at 1:15 p.m. at the corner of University Drive and South CollegeAvenuee. The race will end at Texas Avenue and Villa Maria Road.
Meanwhile, the 92nd Annual BCS Christmas Parade will begin at 2 p.m. and end at approximately 5 p.m.
The route runs on University drive eastbound from S. College Avenue and end at Texas Avenue and northbound on Texas Avenue from University Drive to Villa Maria Road.
Road closures will begin at 1:30 p.m along the route. Most impacted roadways will reopen by 6:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the parade.
Anyone traveling through the area should plan ahead and anticipate delays.
