Baylor's Lady Bears are taking just their second road trip of the season and its to Las Vegas for a Thanksgiving tournament.

"I was surprised. I asked yesterday and I want to say over half my team has never been to Las Vegas so they'll have the eyes really big," coach Kim Mulkey told reporters Tuesday afternoon.

Mulkey's fourth ranked Lady Bears will spend their holiday on the road, but the young team will get a veteran boost. Mulkey confirmed senior center Kalani Brown is back in the line up after sitting out against Southern with an injury.

Still, the head coach says road trips with young players are interesting because it's almost like "raising," the kids.

"I explained to them its the city of lights and Sin City and what we do in Vegas stays in Vegas and we laughed at all that. That's the concern is focus. That worries you and then the competition because its not like we're playing bad teams. At the end of the day, we're there to win two basketball games. After we win those two games you can have all the fun you want."

Baylor will play South Dakota State Friday night at 9:30, with a game against Georgetown Saturday.
