After winning six of its last seven matches in conference play, Baylor volleyball was tabbed No. 25 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Monday afternoon.

Baylor posted a four-set victory against Texas Tech in Lubbock Monday night and then took No. 5 Texas to four sets last Friday in Waco. From Nov. 7-16, the Bears went 3-1 as they played four matches in nine days.

The Bears (18-8, 10-5 Big 12) are ranked for the 36th time in program history and have received votes in the poll for 26 straight weeks.

Baylor is the second-highest ranked Big 12 team behind No. 5 Texas.

No. 25 Baylor closes out the regular season against West Virginia Wednesday night at 7 p.m. CT in Waco. The Senior Night match will air live on FOX Sports Southwest Plus with John Morris and Katie Staiger on the call.
