Texas A&M Softball Hosts Tarleton State and McLennan

COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M softball team continues its fall campaign with a pair of doubleheaders against Tarleton State and McLennan on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, at Davis Diamond.

For both doubleheaders, game one is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start, while game two is slated for 6 p.m. Admission to the exhibition games is free.

The Aggies are off to a 4-0 start this fall with victories over Blinn, Galveston College and Temple College. Texas A&M is led offensively by Gabby Moreno, who is batting a team-high .625 with a home run, triple and two RBI. Riley Sartain is hitting .556 and has added two dingers and seven RBI.

In the circle, Payton McBride is 2-0 with a 0.55 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 12.2 innings of work as Kendall Potts is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and nine strikeouts in 7.0 innings.

All four games can be heard locally on Willy 1550 AM with Zach Taylor and former Texas A&M All-American Tori Vidales on the call.
