The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team is ranked 23rd in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll, released Tuesday. UMHB is currently 22-4 on the season and 244 points in the poll. Calvin College is in first with 1,738 points and 65 first-place votes while Johnson & Wales is second with 1,626 points and two first-place votes. American Southwest Conference members UT Tyler and UT Dallas are also represented in the poll. UT Tyler is ranked 19th with 432 points while UT Dallas is in the receiving votes category.
UMHB returns to action on Friday, November 2nd in a 1:30 p.m. match at the 2018 American Southwest Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament. UMHB won the 2018 West Division title and right to host the tournament. Play will run Thursday, November 1st through Saturday, November 3rd.
