It's time for the Battle of the Bell between Rockdale and Cameron Yoe.
The Rockdale Tigers have won the last two times the Bell has been up for grabs, and for the first time ever, they're hoping to keep it in Tiger territory for three straight years.
Head Coach Jeff Miller said the Yoemen are the team to beat this year, but he believes his Tigers can win a share of the district title if they can capitalize in the red zone, something they've struggled with this year.
Coach Miller recognizes his team has been bending a little bit this year, but has not broken.
When it comes to preparing for the Battle of the Bell, he said that's all the motivation his team needs. They've been preparing for this game since Kindergarten.
"I try to tell our kids all the time how lucky they are to get to be a part of something like this. This is one of those things that these kids that when they start school in kindergarten they already know about this, and it's preached kind of as a all the way through elementary school and junior high. It's something they look forward to from a real young age. The game usually has some pretty significant ramifications in regard to the playoffs or the seeding in the playoffs if you will, district titles and things like that," Head Coach Miller said.
The Tigers said it matters more this year because they're coming off a loss to a team Cameron Yoe beat this year, so they're expecting to battle it out on the gridiron.
Kick off is set for 7:30 in Cameron.
