New closures are planned to take place on I-35 in Temple due to construction.
According to TxDOT, the southbound lanes near 57th Street are set to be closed on Monday and Tuesday from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. All southbound traffic will detour off I-35 at exit #301. Travelers will be directed through the Central Ave./ Adams Ave. intersections by police and flaggers.
Southbound traffic will re-enter I-35 before S. Loop 363.
The northbound lanes near 57th Street are set to be closed on Wednesday from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. and Thursday from 9 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Northbound traffic will detour off I-35 at exit #300. Travelers will be directed through Central Ave./ Adams Ave. intersections by police and flaggers.
Northbound traffic will re-enter I-35 at Central Ave.
This work will take place weather permitting, according to TxDOT.
