TxDOT is set to hold a public hearing on proposed improvements to SL 340 on Tuesday.
According to TxDOT, the proposed improvements to SL 340 would include reconstructing and widening from the Brazos River to US 84 in the cities of Bellmead and Waco.
The existing LP 340 roadway consists of two 12-foot wide lanes with 10-foot inside and outside shoulders. The project would add one main lane in each direction and frontage roads.
The public hearing is set to be held at the Bellmead Civic Center from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Representatives from TxDOT and a consultant study team will be available to answer individual questions.
