A shopping center in San Antonio will now allow visitors to drink alcohol while shopping.
Visitors of The Shops of La Cantera will be allowed to buy beer and wine at two establishments in the shopping center and take them to go, according to KSAT.
"We look at it as a 'sip and shop' activity that we can provide for our customers," Brain Schroeder, senior general manager at The Shops of La Cantera, told KSAT. "It's just another way to make sure people can have a great experience while they are here."
Not all stores will allow customers with drinks, but the majority of the shops welcome it.
Customers who sip and shop will be given wristbands from the two establishments, Luciano and Tiny Cantina.
The center announced earlier this year pets will be allowed in the common areas.
