USPS: Mail delivery may be delayed in parts of Texas due to flooding

Posted

Severe weather that has caused flooding across much of Central and South Texas has affected road conditions in many places across the area.

According to USPS, in case mail carriers cannot safely access mailboxes due to flooding or road closures, customers’ mail will be brought back to the delivery unit and held there and may be picked up at their Post Office during business hours.

USPS is currently monitoring road conditions in the affected areas. Decisions regarding mail delivery service will be made on a location-by-location basis.

If there are any questions or comments about their mail service, contact your local Post Office
