In a district full of ground and pound teams, the Robinson Rockets can do a little big of everything.
"Teams, they know we throw the ball all the time so they're expecting to stop us passing wise and then the offense comes out and runs the ball," said senior wide receiver Noah Richard, "So, it opens up both attacks for us."
Robinson is hoping that holds true against top five opponent Lorena in this week's Red Zone game of the week.
Connally was able to hand the Leopards their first loss of the season last week by relying on the pass. Robinson is more effective through the air than the Cadets too. The Rockets haven't scored less than 27 points in a game this season.
Still, head coach Tommy Allison knows his Robinson team hasn't seen a group like Lorena this season.
"I think anytime you can be multidimensional in high school football it's very important. Lorena has a great offense. They have a great defense. There's a reason they've been ranked in the top 5 in the state of Texas all year. They're a good football team and it will be a big challenge for us."
The challenge will be tested Friday night at 7:30 in Lorena.
