Two people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on I-35S near the 337 exit on Monday afternoon.
According to the Waco Fire Department, an 18-wheeler hit a car, which later crashed into a guardrail.
The driver of the car was rescued using the jaws of life. She was transported to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest with serious injuries.
The passenger of the car was also rushed to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident has been cleared.
