Killeen woman arrested after admitting to stabbing woman in the head

One person is in jail after admitting to police she stabbed a woman in the head in Killeen.

On Sept. 27, officers were called to the scene where they met with the victim, who had blood on her hands and shirt, and one witness who was dressing a wound to the victim's head.

The witness told officers a woman stabbed the victim in the head as he was having a conversation with the victim.

Other witnesses said they saw the suspect, Candace Amburgey, stab the woman and run to a nearby Taco Bell.

Police found Amburgey at the restaurant, and she was later identified by the victim.

Amburgey admitted to police she stabbed the woman.

She was arrested on Saturday on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. Her bond has been set at $100,000.
