Baylor's women's basketball was ranked third nationally by Athlon Sports College Basketball Preview and firth nationally by Lindy's Sports College Basketball in their respective preseason rankings.
In those publications Kalani Brown was placed on the Preseason All-America First-Team.
Athlon named Lauren Cox as a second-team selection.
Both publications are available at local bookstores.
Baylor begins their season on Nov. 6 at home against Nicholls State. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
