Metroplex hospital restores power after outage

Power has been restored to Metroplex hospital after losing power Saturday morning. 

According to Metroplex, they will be meeting to determine when they will reopen for patients and elective procedures. Though patients transported through emergency services are still being diverted to other facilities, their emergency department is able to care for walk-in patients. 

Patients were transported to area hospitals after in Killeen after losing power. 

The hospital said that crews were working to restore power on Saturday, but patients were being taken to Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas, Seton Hospital in Harker Heights and Baylor Scott & White in Temple.
