The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team moved up to 13th in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday.
UMHB moved up one spot to No. 13 after opening American Southwest Conference play with wins over East Texas Baptist University and LeTourneau University. Messiah College held onto the top spot with a 5-0-1 season record while University of Chicago is second and Tufts University is third. University of St. Thomas and Calvin College round out the top five. UMHB jumped up two spots to take the No. 13 rank. Trinity University is the only other Texas school represented in the poll at No. 9.
In the West Region, Trinity leads at 4-0-1 while the Cru holds the No. 2 spot. American Southwest Conference opponents UT Tyler and UT Dallas are also regionally ranked at fifth and ninth, respectively.
UMHB is currently 6-0 on the season. The Cru travels to UT Tyler on Thursday, September 20th for a 7:30 p.m. contest against the Patriots.
