Two people were killed after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, at approximately 11:31 a.m. troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on US 190 just west of Kempner.
A Lincoln sport utility vehicle was traveling westbound and a Ford pickup truck was traveling eastbound. The Lincoln crossed over onto the wrong side of the roadway and struck the Ford.
The driver of the Lincoln, 22-year-old Presli Peters, and a 2-year-old passenger were taken to Baylor Scott and White for incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the Ford, 41-year-old Victor Morrison Jr., and passenger, 40-year-old Cynthia Morrison, were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to DPS.
The crash is still under investigation.
