A bridge will be closing near Marlin after an inspection found it needed repair.
TxDOT said that the FM 147 Bridge at Big Creek east of Marlin will close after an inspection found that bridge columns needed repair.
TxDOT is developing plans for repair, but the bridge will be closed Friday and remain closed until the repairs are made.
Traffic will be detoured between FM 339 and FM 1240 in Falls and Limestone counties.
Traffic south of Groesbeck to Marlin on SH 14 will continue south to Kosse and detour west of SH 7 to Marlin.
