Last season, Jeff Miller's Rockdale Tigers captured a state championship, now they're reloading and trying to recreate that magic.
"We have the pieces to be pretty darn good so hopefully we get it worked out. We need to keep reminding them that just because we won last year nobody else cares. No one we're playing cares. That's not impressive to anyone we're fixing to play. They're coming after us like we went 3-7 last year."
The Tigers were being driven by a record setting offense. This year, a veteran defense should lead the way and they're relishing the challenge.
"People are circling their calendars to play Rockdale that's for sure. Everyone wants the opportunity to play the best and right now we're the best so we have to live up to it," said senior linebacker Jackson Perry.
