An unique race is coming to Waco to benefit YMCA programs.
The YMCA of Central Texas along with High Five Dragon Boat are hosting the second annual Dragon Boat Festival and Battle on the Brazos dragon boat race this year.
Teams of 20 will compete on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9:00 a.m.
The YMCA will provide boats, paddles, life vests and training/steering coaches for the competition.
There is no experience needed to participate.
Dragon racing dates back over 2,000 years ago in China.
