Over 200 longhorns that were seized from Aquilla in February will now be available for adoption from the Humane Society of North Texas.

The Humane Society of North Texas was awarded custody of the animals in March and is now accepting applications of their adoption.

There are 20 bulls, 13 steers, 63 heifers, 87 cows and 29 calves available in total. As of July 31, 50 cattle can be viewed at hsnt.org.

All adoptions will take place at the Humane Society of North Texas's ranch in Joshua, Texas. If you are interested in adopting, the Humane Society of North Texas says you must agree to keep the animals for the remainder of their natural lives and not sell the cattle for slaughter.
