The Waco Fire Department responded to a crash involving an overturned cement truck and multiple other vehicles on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters say the cement truck swerved due to traffic and lost control, causing it to flip and slide down the road about 150 yards, hitting two other vehicles in the process.
Crews had to use the jaws of life to remove the drivers of the two vehicles.
Three people were taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of W. Loop 340 near Waco Drive causing slowed traffic during the morning commute.
Crews are now working to clean up oil and cement spilled from the truck on the roadway.
Waco police said if you are driving in the area, expect lane closures for the next few hours.
