One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Robertson County on Thursday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at 9:15 a.m. on Highway 7 at the FM 979 in Robertson County.
A Dodge Neon was heading westbound and an 18-wheeler was headed eastbound. When the Dodge tried to turn left on FM 979, it was hit by the 18-wheeler.
The driver, 26-year-old Carlos Lopez, in the Dodge was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to DPS.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
