Katie's Frozen Custard in Waco is doing a little something sweet to thank members in the community who go the extra mile.
Each Wednesday, Katie's will give away free ice cream cones to show their appreciation for a specific group.
On July 11, the business recognized first responders.
"We've been here 16 years now. We're from Waco and we just wanted to say 'thank you,'" said Ranelle Bonneau, General Manager for Katie's Frozen Custard.
Bonneau said they also plan on treating teachers and military service members.
